The Boston Molasses Disaster of 1919
On a blustery January in the year, disaster unfolded Boston. A massive reservoir filled with sticky, sweet molasses ruptured sending a wall of of the thick liquid flowing through the streets. The impact was catastrophic, flattening buildings and trapping people in a sticky mass. Hundreds of people were lost their lives, and many more were wounded
